The Breath of Life: Kundalini & Sahaja Yoga in World Traditions and Cultures

Conclusion

The correlation between the sources is so remarkable that one could possibly attribute some scientific value of truth to it. Those descriptions have been there all the time, but we may not have been looking at them in the right way.

We would often interpret them as being creatively imagined by their authors, not understanding what is meant by wind or breath in a spiritual context. Today, in the light of Sahaja Yoga, those writings receive a meaning that makes perfect sense. And vice versa, they indicate that the cool-breeze experience of thousands of Sahaja Yogis is nothing new or random. It is an authentic phenomenon, once only accessible to a few, but today accessible to the whole of humanity. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

"Even Muhammad Sahib has said that at the Time of Resurrection your hands will speak. Exactly this happens, that when you get your Realization, when the Kundalini comes up and She touches the seat of God here immediately in your heart the reflection of God starts emitting cool vibrations from your hands also. When it starts happening you are amazed that all around you feel the subtle Power of God, the Power of His Love, what we call the All-Pervading Brahma, what we call the Chaitanya."
